Marzos

To many people in this world, the Healing Springs located north of the Terakol Kingdom is legendary for its beautiful landscape and buildings, highly civilized and intelligent population, weekly Taco Night, and, of course, the powers of the Springs themselves. The civility of the people living there has, over time, made it a gathering point of plenty of magic knowledge, as many of the wisest mages in the world can trust the people not to go all haywire with it.

Marzos, unfortunately, was not quite so trustworthy. His studies into the more arcane and forbidden aspects of magic and subsequent attempts to use it to warp reality earned him imprisonment by his peers. However, he has somehow escaped and now roams the continent freely.

Though he has been magically imprisoned for an unknown amount of time, Marzos still remains one of the most powerful and dangerous people on the planet. Before putting his old plans into motion again, he seeks revenge against the Healing Springs and those who imprisoned him. Salthalus fears him for this.

First appearance: April 8, 2003 (Storyline: "Marzos And His Big Idea", within "Dwarfhunt!")
