Links
(Where's the love? It's right here)
Now, what good would a webcomic be if I didn't link to other webcomics and your whole comic-reading bliss ended here? The comics I read don't tend to fit into any given category. I mean, it's not everyone who enjoys Zippy the Pinhead, Garfield, Supermegatopia, Labgoats, AND Silly Cone V at the same time...
(I'm working on gathering images for these links... if you've got one and it's not in an obvious location on your comic's site, let me know)
The Morning Ritual (Nick's comic list)
Syndicated:
Webcomics:
- POKEY THE PENGUIN, the penguin who puts the
YES in YES!!!!!!
- User Friendly, your general open source humor.
- Penny Arcade, the first one's always free.
It's Gravy! Where else can you get homcidal maniacs, high school vampires, giant goats, and Noit all at once? (Hasn't been updated in about a year, may be assumed dead...)
- Isometric, a rather angst-riddled, insane comic featuring cubes.
- Hammerspace, yet another sprite-based comic, this one from Fojar.
- Supermegatopia... think of a no-rules version of The Tick. (Adult content, but everyone loves cheesecake pics, right?)
- ? It's Professor Ashfield. It's a gag-a-day comic. That's all you need to know. (Flash 6 required)
- Labgoats, Inc. Witness the lives of Chem grads as Pete Shumate and Todd Morris take you on a suicide trip through labwork!
- Superosity, proof that not EVERY idiot in a cape is a superhero.
- Real Life, a semi-gaming comic based on the author's real-life friends, assuming they routinely build Mechwarriors in the kitchen and time travel devices out of old hard drive parts.
- Lizard, a sequel to Dave Kelly's comic Living in Greytown. A bit more tame, but still all Dave Kelly.
- Chicanery, a comic made primarily out of Earthbound sprites and a warped sense of humor. Can't go wrong with that, right?
- Sometimes Science Sucks, a comic that deals with science, pseudoscience, and science that's just there for the sake of science. Perhaps the only comic drawn by a single person I know of that changes drawing styles between panels of a single day's comic!
- Boxjam's Doodle. If you don't understand Boxjam, you don't understand what webcomiccing is about. Really. Jerkface.
- Silly Cone V, Brandon Sonderegger's maniac trip through Silicon Valley. Complete with Pop Tart-hungry Lego Mindstorms, Irish ghosts, alternate reality clones, ninja carpenters, and more.
- Fight Cast or Evade, another medieval comic, this one featuring numerous dysfunctional creatures trying to make a living as adventurers.
- Protean Comics (Including Turing's Folly II), where cut-and-paste comics take on a whole new meaning.
- Mayberry Melonpool, where a clone, a telepathic dog, a 220lb hamster, a Star Trek-obsessed captain, at least three versions of a maniacal inventor, and a duck collide.
- City of ASCII, a comic done entirely in ASCIIart. Awwwwwww, yeah.
- Bob and George, because, seriously, who can't laugh at the wholescale mockery of the Mega Man series?
- Lost & Found Investigations. Modern-day detective comedy. I seriously like Matt Milligan's sense of continuity.
- Newshounds. And a cat. And a rat. One of the few news-based comics I know about, and also one of the few human and anthropomorphic mix comics, too. And it's quite fun.
- Luther & Locke: Witness the pseudo-philisophical adventures of a movie theatre employee and his imaginary fly-like friend! From the guy who formerly brought you the comic Dick!, Flaming Moose.
- Snail Dust. Doesn't every girl want a two foot sentient dust snail for a pet?
- Catharsis. A girl, a happy-go-lucky dragon, and a comatose, mean-spirited squirrel. Add in some spiffing cool artwork and a delightfully sarcastic atmosphere, and you've got Catharsis.
- Adam's Road Gang, proving once and for all that a Boba Fett-like bounty hunter, a minotaur, a goth chick, a catgirl, and a creature with eyes sticking out of the top of his head can live together in perfect harmony.
- Doctor Fun, proudly the longest-running webcomic out there! A gag-a-day comic where you'd swear Gary Larson was reborn...
- Breakfast at Timpani's, the weekly superhero parody comic that teaches you that breakfast IS the most important meal of the day.
- 8 O'Clock Classes. A little angel and a little devil on your shoulders, telling you what to do? Hell no! Try an all-out assault by your id, ego, and superego! It's too damn early!
- Xorph, one of the most wildly imaginative comics I've seen. Take a trip on the Canvas of the Imagination.
- Schlock Mercenary, a wild ride with the adventures of your ordinary space mercenary squad. With an amorph. Inspired me to use the BanterBits you all know and love!
- Fans! The life of an ordinary sci-fi club! Ordinary! Right! Done in oldschool comic book style, in both art AND writing! (This is on GraphicSmash, so you have to pay for anything besides the most recent strip)
- Scary Go Round, which has a lot of silly wordplay and a good ol' retroish style (and zombies and monkeys, can't go wrong there).
- Angst Technology. Your IT department needs ninjas.
- Geek Salad. Never turn your back on your coffeemakers.
- Squaresville, which proves that you should ALWAYS check your roommates before you move in.
- Floyd the Paramecium Cartoons. Floyd is a comic mascot that rivals the Nasal Fly.
- Carzorthade, showing what happens when your online personas eventually catch up with you.
- CTRL+C/V/Z, the only sprite comic with an FPS rating.
- Count Your Sheep, because it's bedtime and the sheep needs to be counted.
For other bizzare links, look around my EXTREMELY DESPERATE FOR AN UPDATE Special Thanks page at Exclaim Industries. I think I cover a fairly good chunk of the internet there...
And hey, take a look around OnlineComics.net. I'm in there, somewhere. Mark me as a favorite. It'll be great. And you only have to do it once. Not like voting, which should be done every day.
HEY! Wanna link back to me? Do ya, PUNK? Well, why not use one of my hastily-created link images? They're linkalicious!
